In an emotional exchange, the brother of slain Sacramento man Stephon Clark (who was fatally shot by police officers 20 times) confronted police officers and then interrupted a city council meeting in protest, eventually leading the crowd in a chant of his brother’s name. During the meeting, which was convened to discuss the city’s response to the shooting, Stevante Clark led protesters in a chant of his brother’s name, and was reportedly given the microphone by the mayor.
