A couple is suing a hospital in Riverdale, Georgia, after they say their doctor decapitated their baby during the birth. Jessica Ross, 20, went into labor with her first child on July 9 at Southern Regional Medical Center. The lawsuit claims that after about 10 hours of labor, the baby was stuck and the doctor, Dr. Tracey St. Julian, tried to pull the baby out for hours. The doctor pulled the baby’s head “so hard and manipulated than so hard that the bones in the baby’s skull, head and neck were broken.” Hours later, a C-section was performed and the baby was found to be decapitated. Indianapolis mother walks free after admitting to smothering her 2-month-old baby to death between two couch cushions while high on meth.

Judge Mark Stoner found Dacia Lacey not guilty of neglect resulting in death.

Lacey confessed that she wanted her daughter to stop crying and just be quiet so she could get some sleep.

The mother, who was high on meth, smothered her daughter in the couch cushions.

Judge Stoner said that prosecutors didn’t do enough to prove she intentionally harmed her baby.

Lacey was facing 20 to 40 years in prison.

BROWN DEER, Wis. - Police said three people are dead â€“ including the suspect â€“ after a shooting at an apartment complex Saturday morning, Feb. 5. 
 
Brown Deer Police Chief Peter Nimmer identified the suspect as a 26-year-old man who lived at the apartment complex. The suspect died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
 
A 31-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were shot and killed during the incident, according to police. A 36-year-old man was also shot in the leg and injured; he is expected to survive.
 
Nimmer said officers were called shortly after 10 a.m. for a shots fired report near Brown Deer Road and Park Plaza Court. Upon arrival, Nimmer said, the suspect fired shots toward officers from a second-story balcony.
 
While a squad car was hit, no officers or K-9s were struck or injured. No law enforcement officers from any responding agency returned fire. Posted By Ghost

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - The mother of the 2-year-old girl allegedly killed at the hands of her own father is speaking out. She recalled the moment her child's father face-timed her while he was hurting the child. 
 
"Her face was just covered in blood. He hit her with something really hard, and then he called me on Facetime, and he showed me. He choked her on Facetime. I said, â€˜Tray stop, that is your daughter, stop, she loves you.â€™ His exact words were you only love that man, you did this to her," Kairsten Watson, mother of 2-year-old Zevaya Marie explained. 
 
Around 10 a.m. Monday, police say 25-year-old Deontray Flanagan stormed into Walmart in North Harris County after taking his daughter from daycare. Officers say he threatened to harm her if the child's mother didn't do what she was told.
 
"He just wanted my phone. He's screaming at me telling me what is the passcode, tell me the passcode, or she's going to get hurt; and I'm telling him the passcode over and over, but I guess it just wasn't enough," Watson said. 
 
After he got the phone and passcode, he took off with Zevaya still in hand. Police say Flanagan took deputies on a 30-mile chase, hitting cars, and driving the wrong way. The car eventually came to a stop on Steubner Airline Drive near Veterans Memorial Drive, where officers took Flanagan into custody. 
 
He was uninjured, but little Zevaya required CPR until LifeFlight arrived. She later died at the hospital. Posted By Ghost
