"Wasted Love" is about leaving toxic people and situations behind and moving on to bigger and better things. The beat of this song was written by Hylo himself as well as Salt Lake City, Utah's own Stetson Whitworth of High Vibe Recordings. The track was mixed and mastered by Christian Matute out of Las Vegas, Nevada and the music video was filmed and directed by Amber Paredes in Los Angeles.
