Clarence Mitchell, 34, was at a second line parade in Central City, New Orleans when he was shot and killed by a stray bullet on February 17. He left behind a wife, daughter and one-year-old. When families lose loved ones in New Orleans, second lines or “jazz funerals,†aren’t the only way to celebrate or mourn.
