"A principal at the center of a controversy in the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District has been placed on paid administrative leave, the superintendent wrote in a letter to parents late Monday.
 
Superintendent Robin Ryan wrote an interim principal, is now in place at Colleyville Heritage High School while embattled Principal James Whitfield is on leave.
 
Ryan wrote in part, "I wanted to share information with you regarding the leadership at Colleyville Heritage High School. Effective immediately, Dr. Whitfield has been put on paid administrative leave."

Texas Parents Force Black High School Principal Out On Admin Leave Over A Photo, Kissing His Wife!

ELYRIA, Ohio (WEWS/CNN Newsource/WKRC) - A mom wants to tell her side of the story after she was arrested for pepper spraying the principal and assistant principal at an Ohio elementary school. 
 
Surveillance video showed Jessica Houze in a confrontation that led to an altercation between herself and the school principal and assistant principal. According to the school, Houze attempted to enter the school through a nonauthorized door, and was swearing and using aggressive body language with the principal. 
 
Houze said she was frustrated, and that her son with autism was being hit and bullied on the school bus and was never informed. 
 
"My child gets off the bus crying a lot," she told reporters. 
 
The school said Houze tried and enter the school and continued swearing until she ultimately pepper sprayed the principal. The school was placed in a modified lockdown during the incident, which was lifted as the morning went on. 
 
A statement from the school reiterated that no act of violence can be condoned at school to ensure the safety of students and staff at all times. 
 
Houze is facing two felony assault charges and a charge of criminal trespassing. 
 
She said since Tuesday, the school has addressed her son's bullying situation, and while she apologizes for her actions, she does not regret them. 
 
"No, I don't regret it, because I talked to him multiple times. I talked to multiple people at that school to try to get heard for my child." Posted by JR

A student assaulted an assistant principal at James Clemens High School in Madison on Wednesday as the administrator was attempting to break up a fight on a school bus, Madison City Schools Superintendent Ed Nichols said.
 
Speaking at a press conference Thursday morning, Nichols described the incident in which the assistant principal â€“ whom the school system is declining to identify at this time â€“ was struck in the back of the head six to 10 times by one of the students in the fight.
 
The student also bit the assistant principal on the arm, breaking the skin through his long-sleeve clothing and left the injury bloody, Nichols said.
 
The incident occurred about 3:40 p.m. Wednesday as buses were loading at James Clemens.
 
Video captured by students and circulated on social media showed the assistant principal struck the student. Nichols said the assistant principal felt he was in danger. Nichols said no punishment is planned for any of the administrators involved in the incident.
 
â€œWhile we hate the altercation happened, we donâ€™t ever want altercations between students, we also know that there comes a point in time -- weâ€™ll provide you with pictures of the injury this this administrator received -- that they have to have an opportunity to defend themselves from further harm,â€� Nichols said. It's the last event planned during a week-long homecoming celebration. Administrators want all the students to have a good time, but they're cracking down this year on students who grind on each other and perform sexually explicit dances.

A classmate captured the entire incident on their cell phone.

The teacher in question, identified by school officials as Sherri Davis, was officially terminated on Monday night.
