A Conversation with White Supremacy is a poetic parody and candid conversation between a black man and the personification of a system that has plagued his humanity generationally. The black man is seeking an answer to a question he deems important as he is reflective of his own blackness – what do I have to do to be seen as human in this white supremacy system? The response shocked him. He found himself in a position realizing, that the mere seeking of this answer disguises his own enslavement. White supremacy reveals to him that his own limitations are a result of the conditions of the mind and the reality is he, the black man, is already able to own his humanity – he just has to continue to wake up and rely on independency. White supremacy shows the times the black man has depended on “the system”, it has come back and bitten him. The N word is used as art in this piece and not intended to be insensitive towards the history behind it.
