If you are in the Bay Area, you might be able to catch glimpses of Tesla Semi prototypes being tested on public roads. A new sighting showed Tesla’s all-electric truck accelerate extremely fast from low-speed. The vehicle was slowly traveling on a public road and suddenly accelerated right in front of a 25 mph speed limit sign.
Several Tesla Semi prototypes have been spotted in the Bay Area between Tesla’s Fremont, Palo Alto and Sunnyvale facilities. This grey prototype has also been spotted at Tesla’s design studio in Los Angeles and a black prototype has been spotted in Palo Alto recently. Tesla is currently conducting a test program with partners ahead of the planned start of production next year.
