A haunting new video has emerged that shows the panic and chaos aboard a boat in the Bahamas moments after an 18-year-old Louisiana star high school baseball player jumped off the ship in a dare that turned deadly.

Footage shows Cameron Robbins splashing in the water, with no life jacket on and dressed only in swim trunks, as many of his fellow classmates are in shock and others yell in hysterics.

'This kid f****** jumped off!' said one person.

Another said, 'Oh my f****** god. Oh, shut the f***  up. Oh, bye...bye... Oh ... s***!'

'Grab the buoy.. grab the buoy,' others yelled out hoping he would hear them.

But video shows Robbins, who was a few feet away from the boat, suddenly drifting in the other direction and away from the buoy, before he disappears into the darkness, witnesses said. 

The US Coast Guard and multiple agencies searched the water for days looking for the missing young man. Late Friday, the US Coast Guard officially called off the search, officials said. 

Witnesses claimed he was acting on a dare when he jumped overboard at 11.30pm from the Blackbeard's Revenge sunset cruise ship, according to WAFB. 

The ship was near Athol Island, an uninhabited island located northeast of Nassau, when Robbins leaped into the sea.

Robbins had graduated from the University High in Baton Rouge just days prior and was seen wearing his robe and smiling in an Instagram photo taken days before his disappearance.

The star athlete was celebrating his recent graduation from high school with dozens of other seniors from other Baton Rogue High Schools including U-High, Episcopal, Catholic, and St. Joseph’s Academy, a parent told the news outlet.

The students had only arrived on the island hours before the pirate-themed sunset boat excursion and had been staying at the Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, the parent said.

After Robbins had jumped, the boat and its crew members tried to locate him along with multiple agencies, including the US Coast

Pickett asked the white boaters to move their vessel multiple times so that passengers could get off the boat. Instead of moving the boat, a white man attacked Pickett and a brawl broke out moments later as more white people joined the fight and Pickett’s colleagues rushed to defend him. Shark Island or "Death Island" was one of five concentration camps located on Shark Island off LÃ¼deritz, in Central Namibia. It was used by the German Empire during the Herero and Namaqua genocide of 1904â€“1908. Between 1,032 and 3,000 Herero and Namaqua men, women, and children died in the camp between its opening in 1905 and its closing in April 1907. 
 
On 12 January 1904, the Herero people rebelled against German colonial rule under the leadership of Samuel Maharero. Origins of the Herero revolt date back to the 1890s when tribes settled in Namibia came under pressure from the growing number of German settlers wanting their land, cattle, and labor. Factors such as loss of property, increasing debt in an attempt to resettle lost herds, low wages on white-owned farms, and racial inequalities only intensified the hostility between the Herero and the Germans.[11]
 
When the Herero rebelled, they killed over 100 German settlers near the town of Okahandja. Over 15,000 German reinforcements under the command of Lothar Von Trotha defeated the Herero force at the Waterberg River in August 1904.
 
Two months later, the Nama people broke out in a similar rebellion against German colonists. Traditional rivalries prevented the Herero and Nama from joining together, however both groups continued fighting guerrilla warfare against the German colonial forces.
 
Following the abandonment of Lothar von Trotha's policy of exterminating Herero within the borders of German South West Africa by denying them access to water holes, the colonial authorities adopted a policy of sweeping the bush clear of Herero â€“ both civilians and rebels â€“ and removing them, either voluntarily or by force, to concentration camps.

Four armed men shot and kidnapped a 26-year-old from Vermont from western Mindanao, the police said. He had been living in the area since May.The man, Elliot Onil Eastman, 26, of Vermont, was abducted from Sibuco, a coastal town on the island of Mindanao in the southern Philippines. His kidnapping was reported by his father-in-law, AbdulMali Hamsiran Jala, who told the police that four men who were wearing black pants, shirts and face covers forcibly entered Mr. Eastman’s house in the Zamboanga del Norte Province. Falsely introducing themselves as police officers, the men attempted to take Mr. Eastman, who managed to resist and run before being shot in the leg with a rifle, the police said.
