"Keke Palmer is requesting sole custody of her 8-month-old son Leodis, whom she shares with Darius Jackson after alleging the child’s father has been physically abusive on multiple occasions. 

On Thursday, the Nope actress, 30, filed a request for a domestic violence restraining order in Los Angeles, according to documents reviewed by PEOPLE. 

In the California Superior Court filing, Palmer alleges that on Sunday, “Darius trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent, threatened me, then physically attacked me — lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police.”

She also includes screenshots of what appears to be security footage of a man striking a woman over a sofa. Palmer alleges that Jackson, 30, has abused her multiple times over a 2-year period. In the declaration, Palmer alleges there were “many instances of physical violence, including striking and grabbing me around the neck, descriptions of Darius destroying my personal property, including diaries and prescription eyeglasses, throwing my belongings into the street, throwing my car keys to prevent me from driving away, hitting my in front of our son, spewing profanities about me to our son, threatening to kill himself with a gun if I left him, harassment, and other physical and emotional abuse.” Palmer’s filing states that on or around April 21, 2022, the former couple went out to eat at a restaurant in Santa Barbara when Jackson allegedly became upset after accusing Palmer of flirting with a woman, causing the parents to head back to their hotel early. “Darius grabbed my prescription eyeglasses away from me, threw them on the  ground and stomped on them. He then opened my bag, threw all of my belongings onto the pavement in the rain, and threw my car keys across the parking lot before he got into his own car and drove off,” the document reads." - People Posted by Thrillz

"I'm posting this for awareness. Yesterday around 5:20 pm 2 boys followed my brother home while he was walking my dog. My brother ran because they said â€œletâ€™s get himâ€�. These 2 boys have been bothering my brother for a little over a year now and I just found out last night when I asked him to tell me who hurt him and if he knew them. He finally told me. He begged them not to hurt him and even offered $50 so they wouldnâ€™t hurt him but regardless of money or not, they still came at him with so much hatred in their hearts. Chris the one wearing white, you said â€œleave it alone I got something bigger coming his wayâ€� and Jonathan wearing black you have no right to put your hands on my brother. None of you do. With fear comes silence. Not a lot of people will speak up about what theyâ€™re going through. It pains me watching this video over and over bc I have never felt this sick to my stomach watching an innocent little boy get hurt. My brother was punched 2-3x, held my dog so my dog wouldnâ€™t get hurt, thatâ€™s one reason he didnâ€™t fight back. Anyone who knows my brother knows that heâ€™s the sweetest and goofiest kid I know, he hustles hard and has so many goals to reach. Between him and I, Iâ€™m the fighter and heâ€™s the lover. Right now, Iâ€™m fighting for the one I love, this kid is my everything man, I raised him. No one should ever suffer in silence because theyâ€™re getting bullied or going through something tough. When i pulled over, her boyfriend tried to break into my car in an attempt to hit me i guess. So i called the st louis metro police and tried driving to a safer spot. While on the phone with the police she rams the back of my van repeatedly to get me to stop. Mind you im going one block to the nearest parking lot. As she continues to ram my van, the police say theres no cars available at the moment and they would â€œbe there when they could.â€� I stopped in this parking lot and started to record. My phone battery was at 1 percent so i went into the hi point burger joint next to the parking lot to call the cops again. When i came out, her â€œboyfriendâ€� tried chasing me down so i ran through the burger place and hid. When i came out of the burger joint she had smashed my windows, mirrors and lights with a crow bar. When the police finally showed up they ticketed us both for reckless driving and public disturbance."
