Tory Lowe is no stranger to struggle or injustice. In 2005, in a packing plant in Worthington, Minnesota, Tory was nearly killed by redneck coworkers who claimed ties to the KKK. Tory quickly learned that racism wasn't dead. After 4 long years in local and Federal Courts, Tory was awarded a discrimination settlement and helped to strengthen a few of Minnesota's "No Tolerance" laws in the workplace! Tory returned to Milwaukee Wisconsin in 2011 and began working with families dealing with injustice and violence. He became the spokesman and organizer for families of victims dying in police custody, victims of illegal strip searches, families affected by senseless violence, and wrongful deaths of the mentally ill. Tory has been featured in numerous TV, newspaper, radio and internet articles, shows and blogs for his efforts towards human rights. Fox, CBS, ABC, and CNN are just a few that have covered his mission. In 2014, Tory founded a new human rights organization -Family Friends, LLC. Tory has been connected to the music industry since 1993. Tory has produced and recorded albums in Rock, Gospel, and Hip Hop. His latest video "No Justice, No Peace" features families affected by police misconduct and shows actual footage of the movement in Milwaukee, WI.
