Houston Youth Minister Shot Dead After Punching The Pastor's Son Who Was Smashing His Ex-Wife!

"Easter Sunday took a deadly turn near a Dallas church as a heated love triangle descended into chaos, when the Pastor’s son gunned down the Youth Minister.

31-year-old Denzel Branch was shot and killed by 30-year-old Joshua Andrews. Branch was a youth minister at New Generation Church and Andrews is the son of its Pastor Eric J. Andrews. The shooting occurred after Branch punched Andrews through an open car door window . The altercation then escalated when Andrews went to his car and grabbed a 9mm handgun and proceeded to shoot at Branch multiple times. Branch attempted to flee, but according to police, Andrews admitted to pursuing the youth minister and continuing to fire shots. Andrews stopped his attack only upon noticing Branch lying in the middle of the road. Branch later succumbed to his gunshot wounds at the hospital.

According to the arrest affidavit, “Andrews stated he has been involved in an intimate relationship since May 2023 with Branch’s ex-wife, who divorced Branch around November 2023.”

Andrews had fled the scene of the crime but later turned himself in admitting to the shooting.

Branch’s mother, Shaylor Wilcot, stated even though Andrews killed her son “I know justice is going to be served and I won’t stand in the way, but I will be there to support and love his family, church, family and those that are around.”

Andrews is being charged with murder and is in custody in the Dallas County Jail with a $500,000 bond." - Revolt | Posted by Thrillz
