Zookeepers at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park jumped into action when a dog entered a gorilla enclosure. The scary moment was caught on camera by guests visiting the park. The male shepherd ran around in distress as a gorilla began to chase it around the exhibit. Zookeepers were able to safely leash the dog and remove him from the area for evaluation. JAKARTA - One resident died after being hit by a landslide in Nganjuk Regency, East Java Province.
 
Acting Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari, explained that this incident was triggered by unstable soil conditions that resulted in landslides and the fall of several spruce trees in the Sedudo Waterfall Tourism Object that hit the victim.

Fortunately, after the unexpected encounter with the animal, the young man was able to escape safely. The spokesman for the District Inspectorate of the Gendarmerie, Ion Zaharia, told Digi24 that the tourist did the right thing when at one point he threw his backpack and the bear was busy investigating this object and the danger was overcome. A new video shows a gun-toting man running from NYPD officers after gunfire erupted at theÂ Dominican Day ParadeÂ in the Bronx last weekend, cops said.
 
The video shows the 22-year-old running with a firearm after shots were fired at about 4:20 p.m. Sunday at Grand Concourse and Elliot Place, according to a police spokeswoman. 
 
The video shows officers chasing the man, who was clad in bright yellow and wearing a black hoodie, before he drops the weapon on the street.
The man allegedly seen in the video, Elvin Manuel Hidalgo-Santos, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree and reckless endangerment in the first degree, police said. 
 
He pleaded not guilty and was held on $15,000 bond or $25,000 cash bail. He was locked up on Rikers Island Thursday, records show. Posted by JR

In January 2024, 17-year-old Ikea Imari Hood, a junior at Lancaster High School and member of the Tigerette Drill Team, was tragically shot and killed in her Southeast Oak Cliff home in Dallas, Texas. Just three weeks prior, she had given birth to a baby girl. Authorities arrested her on-again-off-again boyfriend, 17-year-old Trevon Darnell Wright, in connection with her death. 


According to the arrest affidavit, Hood had recently discovered that Wright was not the biological father of her newborn and intended to inform him on the day of the incident. Hood's mother reported hearing a loud noise from her daughter's room, and upon investigation, found Hood with a fatal gunshot wound and Wright absent from the scene. 


Following his arrest by the U.S. Marshals Task Force, Wright was charged with first-degree murder. In January 2025, after a trial that included emotional testimonies from Hood's family, Wright was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.
