A suspected robber who attacked a convenience store owner with a knife was surprised when the owner pulled his own knife on him. The alleged robbery and attack happened this past Sunday at Jarek's Market in Fall River, Massachusetts. Jose Tirado-Sanchez, 36, entered the store, jumped onto the counter and began swinging a large knife while demanding money. A physical altercation between a store owner and a suspected shoplifter sparked BLM-style racial unrest in Peckham, London on Tuesday.
 
In a video posted to social media on Monday, an unidentified black woman, who claims she was visiting Peckham Hair and Cosmetics to request a refund on hair extensions, was accused by the South Asian store owner, Sohail Sindo, of attempting to leave the store with stolen merchandise, which resulted in a physical altercation.
 
Surveillance video obtained by ITV News London reportedly shows the store owner blocking the woman from exiting the shop with alleged stolen items in hand. She then is seen hitting the store owner multiple times, including in the face, before he begins to apprehend her by pushing her back into the store. The video shows the store owner grabbing the woman's arms and neck as she continues to beat him.
 
After video of the incident emerged across social media, racial protests erupted outside the shop which shut down traffic on Wednesday. Abdullah Muflahi owns Triple S Food Mart, the convenience store in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where Alton Sterling was fatally shot by police early Tuesday morning. Muflahi told reporters he saw the shooting and has described the scene for various news outlets. Muflahi told CNN that he has known Sterling for six years and let him sell CDs in front of his store. "Dallas police are investigating a convenience 
store robbery in which a group of teens attacked a 
clerk.

The melee, which was caught on video, happened 
last month at the Exxon Tiger Mart at South Polk 
Street and Interstate 20, WFAA-TV (Channel 8) 
reports.

A large crowd of young people entered the store 
about 10:15 p.m. and began throwing bottles at one 
another.

When the clerk confronted them and tried to close 
the door, someone in the crowd punches him, 
knocking him to the ground.

"Once they got me on the ground, I thought they 
were going to kill me," C.J. Thomas told Channel
