"Witnesses say a school bus driver grabbed a
middle school student by his neck and threw him
against the window after hearing the student
repeatedly use the 'n-word,' despite having asked
him to stop.
Terris Devon Richard, 35, of Charlotte South
Carolina was charged with third-degree assault and
battery to the 15-year-old boy who said the driver
made additional threats against him and his
father's life.
Richard, who is black, tells WCSC-TV that he knows
what he did was wrong but was upset after
reporting the student's language weeks earlier,
and nothing being done about it.
