A traffic accident in Yonkers resulted in a woman being pinned under a car.

Surveillance video captured the shocking moment that took place around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.

A woman crossing New Main Street was struck by a car and knocked to the ground.

As the woman struggled to get up, video showed the driver stop and start to get out, but never put the vehicle in park.

Just as a Coast Guard swimmer jumped into the icy waters off the Columbia River mouth in Oregon on Friday to rescue a man on a floundering motorboat, a set wave loomed. It was actually the Coastie’s first-ever rescue, and he was swimming toward a rescuee who had stolen the boat, and — just in case the situation wasn’t bizarre enough — who had placed a dead fish at the famed Goonies home in Astoria, Oregon.
 
Video from a Coast Guard helicopter shows the rescue swimmer approaching the boat as the man climbed over the transom and stood on the swim step, waiting. That’s when the wave began to rear, then broke in earnest, sending the motorboat tumbling like a puny toy.
 
Miraculously, both the rescue swimmer and the man were hoisted aloft by the helicopter and brought safely back to shore. Not long after, the man, who had been wanted by police — and who the Coast Guard didn’t know had stolen the boat — walked out of an Astoria hospital, scot-free. Posted By Ghost

Three British nationals are currently being held in custody by the Taliban in Afghanistan, a humanitarian organisation has told the BBC.

"Just minutes after Danny Masterson was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for multiple rapes Thursday, an old late-night clip with the actor resurfaced on X, instantly going viral to amass 2.6M views within hours.

In the video from a 2004 appearance on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Long Island native Masterson is quizzed by the comedy host about his lack of Long Island accent.

The innocuous banter takes a sharp turn after an eyebrow-raising anecdote Masterson chooses to illustrate his point that his accent “just goes away naturally, and then there’s also certain words that there’s nothing you can do about.” The anecdote involves his friend, actor Bodhi Elfman, who Masterson says “always teases me, and he says ‘Hi, my name is Danny Masterson, would you like to touch my balls?'” saying the last word with an exaggerated Long Island accent.

Naturally, the bizarre example does not go unchecked by O’Brien, who reacts by asking, “So why are you asking people to do that? That’s the more important question.”

Masterson’s reply makes an already awkward situation even more awkward.

Peel Regional Police released stunning security camera video Wednesday showing a woman run over a man while allegedly stealing his Porsche SUV earlier this month in Mississauga.

That woman, now wanted for the vehicle theft and dangerous operation causing bodily harm, is captured on the video telling the man she's at his home to see the Porsche Cayenne. Police said she was responding to an Auto Trader ad, and the incident took place at around 2 p.m. on Sept. 6 in the Winston Churchill and Eglinton Avenue area.

She tells the man she's waiting for her dad, but asks to see the vehicle first. The doorbell camera captures a clear image of the suspect, who Peel Regional Police are still trying to identify. When the man moves behind the white SUV, the woman reverses hard and slams into him. The man disappears from view as the SUV races backward onto the street.

Somehow, he bounces up, though he holds his back as he confronts the woman through the window.

The video shared by police doesn't show the SUV driving away, but it was stolen, according to a news release.

Police are also looking for information about the drivers of two other SUVs — one that's silver-grey and one that's blue — in connection with the case.
