Michael Irvin released a surveillance video Tuesday that captures a Feb. 5 conversation between the former Cowboys wide receiver and a female hotel staffer in Phoenix, footage that Irvin and his attorney hope can help restore his public image during an ongoing $100 million lawsuit against Marriott.
 
The conversation, which lasted about one minute and 45 seconds at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown hotel, was played for reporters during a news conference Tuesday held inside an Oak Lawn office building. The Dallas Morning News obtained a digital copy of the encounter. No audio is included, so it cannot be determined what exactly was said.
 
According to a Marriott court filing last Friday, the woman accuses Irvin of making a lewd comment, touching her without consent and saying that he would find her later in her work week. Specifically, per Marriott, a drunken Irvin allegedly asked if she knew anything about having a â€œbig Black man inside of [her].â€�
 
â€œI donâ€™t speak like that,â€� Irvin said Tuesday. â€œIâ€™ve never spoken like that. I totally deny saying that. I totally deny saying that.â€�
 
Irvin also rebuffed the suggestion he posed any danger to the woman because of fear heâ€™d find her later in the week. Irvin was forced to change hotels the next evening; Marriott said in its filing it was the NFL that, upon interviewing the woman and reviewing the surveillance video, removed Irvin from the property.

A Northern California high school has canceled the rest of its football season after a video surfaced of players acting out an apparent â€œslave auctionâ€� with black teammates. Yuba City Unified schools Superintendent Doreen Osumi said the district received the â€œdisgracefulâ€� video showing members of the River Valley High School varsity football team carrying out the racist act, the Sacramento Bee reported. 

â€œI received a copy of a recording of River Valley High School football team members acting out a reprehensible act of a slave auction,â€� she said in an email sent to district staff late Thursday, according to the news outlet. â€œThe recording clearly demonstrates that this situation was orchestrated and organized, which underscores my concern that students spent time contemplating this terrible act without the slightest regard that this action is hateful and hurtful,â€� Osumi wrote. 

â€œ(River Valley players) may argue that it was a joke, and they intended no harm, but the fact is that this is not only harmful, it is disgraceful,â€� she added. As a result of the sickening prank, the team forfeited last weekâ€™s game. The students involved in the incident were kicked off the team, leaving it without enough players to compete â€” and leading to the cancellation of the rest of the season.

"Lt. Quathisha Epps was facing foreclosure and desperate to keep her home the first time Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey asked for sex, she claimed in an exclusive interview.

“He wanted to have anal sex, vaginal sex, oral sex,” the mother of three said. “He was always asking me to kiss his penis.”

Maddrey strongly denies Epps’ claims.

In one painful session, he bent her over a sofa in his 13th-floor office, she claimed to The Post, sobbing.  “I kept asking him, ‘Can you please stop?’ Then I stopped asking him to stop.

“‘Can you please just slow down? You’re hurting me! You’re hurting me!’ ” she alleged.

Epps, 51, recently made headlines for being the NYPD’s top earner at $400,000, which included more than $200,000 in overtime.

The chief, the highest ranking uniformed cop on the force, demanded “unwanted sexual favors in exchange for overtime opportunities,” between June 2023 and Dec. 16, 2024, according to an Equal Opportunity Employment discrimination claim filed against the city Saturday. She alleged Maddrey also used what he knew about her past as an incest survivor to take advantage of her, according to the complaint.  Epps said the favors he demanded were anything but familial.

He frequently sent her messages that said “DAP” — slang for “Dat ain’t p—y” — which meant he wanted anal sex, Epps claimed.

He would also come into her office and “ask me to kiss it,” she claimed in her complaint, a reference to his penis.

He used to tell her all the time he has “a wish and a command,” and she would have to do what he said, she claims.

“He’d say ‘Strip for me right now,’” Epps alleged.  “He said he dreamed about f–king me in my a–,” Epps claimed.

“I said, ‘But Chief, you’re the chief of department.’ . . . He was like, “But I’m still a n—-r and you look good.'”

Then he asked her to go to the back room in his office, where he has a couch and bathroom, she said.
