New Orleans, Louisiana rapper Turk released a single with the same title featuring Joe Young and Don Trip with nearly identical artwork and similar choruses on each of the songs. The controversy around the singles exploded on social media and landed both MC's on the front page of respected hip-hop blogs when Smoke's fans started to rally in support. Smoke released his single in June, a full two months before Turk's single came to light.
