This is the terrifying moment a slingshot ride snapped and sent thrillseekers hurtling out of control at a theme park in southern France.

A 24-year-old woman suffered a broken leg when one of the ride’s elastic cables snapped and a cage occupied by her and a second person was thrown against a support column.

The thrillseekers were left suspended in the air for an hour before they were rescued by firefighters and taken to hospital. Posted By PSmooth
