Nintendo has at last unveiled its upgraded Switch model, which is due to launch on 8th October alongside Metroid Dread. It has a 7-inch OLED screen, 64GB of internal storage, a wide adjustable stand plus improved speakers. There's a new dock, too, with a wired LAN port. White and neon red/blue colours will be available. Officially, it's called the Nintendo Switch (OLED model) console. In the US it costs $350. Posted By Persist

Last month it emerged that Apple, the most valuable company in the world and supposedly an icon of squeaky-clean progressive values, brushed aside allegations of labour within its key Chinese supply chain. 

The suggestion is that a big Apple supplier named Suyin Electronics employed workers as young as 14, in the interests of keeping up with the ferocious appetite for Apple goods in the west. Apple chided Suyin, but maintained ties for months and even years afterwards. 

With new allegations like this, and a spate of associated with the brandâ€™s manufacturing base over the years, we thought it was time we put on our lanyards and take a peek inside an iPhone factory in China.

On January 1st, 2023, officers responded to a call regarding a reckless driver failing to maintain a single lane. Upon their arrival, they made contact with the suspect, Tammy Walther, better known by0 her adult-film name, Ainsley Adams.

Walther quickly admitted to officers her license had been suspended at the time of the interaction. She noticeably also was only wearing a top and her underwear during the traffic stop. Once officers asked whether she had additional clothing to put on, she instantly became agitated and acting erratically around officers.

After placer her under arrest, Walther became combative and refused to comply with the officers commands. This continued until she was placed in the restraint chair by jail staff. The Los Angeles Police Department on Wednesday seized millions of dollars worth of stolen merchandise believed to be Nike sneakers during a raid of a warehouse in Torrance, officials said.

Police Capt. Alfonso Lopez of the LAPD's commercial crimes division said the merchandise was linked to several cargo trucks that had been stolen from a facility near the Port of Los Angeles. He said the cargo truck thefts occurred over a certain period of time but would not disclose further details because he said it would impede in their investigation.

Lopez said thieves made off with merchandise from at least nine cargo trucks. Investigators from various law enforcement agencies tracked the stolen merchandise to a warehouse in Torrance, where a search warrant was served Wednesday evening.

Lopez said investigators recovered stolen products from six of the nine containers. He said the value of the merchandise ranged from $4 million to $7 million. Posted by Abdul
