Actor Jamie Foxx is speaking out after rescuing a man from a burning truck right in front of his house. 32-year-old Brett Kyle of Newbury Park, was speeding westbound on Potrero Road when he crashed his 2007 Toyota Tacoma right in front of Foxx's home. The car struck a drainage pipe and concrete, causing it to roll over multiple times, authorities said. The vehicle ended up on its passenger side and caught fire, trapping Kyle inside. Foxx said he heard the crash, called 911 and then he rushed down to the scene. The truck was already on its side and on fire. The door was locked, and the window was up. With help from another man, Foxx pulled Kyle out of the burning wreckage. The two broke the car window using EMT scissors, cut the seat belt and pulled Kyle out to safety. Kyle's brother, Joe Kyle, told ABC News that Brett Kyle broke his collarbone, which in turn punctured his lung, but "he would be in a much worse situation if Jamie Foxx didn't come along." A Washington state police officer is being hailed a hero for rescuing a woman from a burning car on Saturday and the dramatic moment was captured on his body camera.

Spokane police said in a press release Officer Tim Schwering arrived on the scene of a burning vehicle Friday night. Kimberly Novak had called for help, saying he was trapped in the vehicle as the passenger side began to fill with smoke.

Schwering managed to break a window with his baton, but couldnâ€™t unlock the door. Police said Schwering had to break the driverâ€™s side window and have Novak climb out that window. The officer received help from a neighbor nearby. Posted By Abdul

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Dawn Faugl) -- A father who beat a suspected child molester unconscious before calling 911 is speaking out about what happened, and say it was the victim who saved the accused rapist's life.
 
The father says he came home from the store, and heard something in a back bedroom. When he walked in, he says he saw a family friend, 18-year-old Raymond Frolander molesting his 11-year-old son. The dad says he began beating Frolander, and after he was knocked out, went to the kitchen to get a knife to kill him.
 
He says that's when his son stopped him. "My son stepped in front of me and saved his life, just looked at me and said sir and shook his head and I just put the knife down. I didn't want to traumatize him any more than he already was," the father told a Florida tv station.
 
The father called 911 and told dispatchers what happened. Daytona Beach police say Frolander was still unconscious when they showed up. He was taken to the hospital, and then to jail. The father was not charged.
 
The father says his family is trying to heal, and his son is in counseling. But he says he wanted to talk publicly about the case to let victims of sex crimes know they shouldn't be afraid to come forward. Posted By Ghost
