A brave dad has gone head to head with a bronze whaler shark, wrestling it in the water, as stunned onlookers watched on in disbelief. Tristan Turner was fishing with his two sons off the jetty in Kangaroo Island, South Australia, where they live when they accidentally hooked the massive shark, prompting the daring dad to jump into action.
 
While the shark, said to be up to three metres long, was eventually released back into the ocean safely, Turner first had to remove the hook from its mouth – and what followed amazed spectators. Video capturing the incident shows the shirtless dad splashing around in knee-deep water, wrangling the restless shark and holding it by its tail as the animal attempts to free itself from the man's grip.
 
Bronze whaler sharks are often spotted close to shore around Australian beaches and are not considered aggressive. However, there are some fatalities caused by the species on record. Turner didn't appear concerned by the close encounter however. Posted By Ghost

"A car influencer who posted YouTube videos of drag races on New York City streets died when he crashed his speeding BMW into a light pole near John F. Kennedy airport, police said.

Andre Beadle, 25, crashed just after 1 a.m. Wednesday on the Nassau Expressway near the airport, the NYPD said in a news release. Beadle was thrown from the car in front of a small crowd of horrified spectators.

Beadle, who lived in the Bronx and was known on social media as 1Stockf30, had 240,000 followers on Instagram and 59,000 on YouTube. He had posted videos of himself racing his purple BMW M240 on city streets and at a racing track in Pennsylvania.

In one nighttime video, a group of men is seen blocking off traffic on a city highway and then slicking the roadway to prepare for the race.

Fans posted tributes after Beadle's death. “Rest easy,” one Instagram poster said. “You did great things for the street and drag racing scene. Forever a legend.” Others criticized him for failing to take safety seriously.

"The family of a man brutally attacked at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification State Prison is calling for change and answers from the stateâ€™s Department of Corrections.

"I just want justice for my brother," said the sister of Zedarrius Coleman.

Sheâ€™s referring to the violent attack on her brother at the prison, shown in a video circulating on social media.

In the video, you can see him get attacked in his prison cell by several other inmates. They use what appear to be large, improvised knives or shanks to stab Coleman multiple times.

They then drag him through the prison, leaving trails of blood.

A quick thinking sailboat crew helped rescue two tourists after they drove their car into Honokohau Harbour, in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. Video by Christie Hutchinson shows the crew use rope to drag the sinking car back into shallow water before helping the driver and passenger out of the vehicle. Hutchinson told Storyful the crew of the Nanea sailboat had returned from a day of sailing when they witnessed the car drive head-on into the harbor beside them. “The passengers were tourists trying to find a Manta Ray Snorkel tour company in the harbor and had been following their GPS directions when they took a wrong turn into the water,” Hutchinson explained. This is the moment a Chinese driver nearly hits three motorcyclists while trying to park in a roadside space before giving up and using his bare hands to drag the vehicle into position. 
 
The unusual parking attempt was filmed in the city of Wuzhou in the south-eastern Chinese region of Guangxi on 30th December. 
 
According to the news site Weibo, the man, name not disclosed, was unable to position his car in the ample parking space and ended up using his hands to drag the vehicle. 
 
In the footage, the motorist is seen turning into the huge space, but failing to position his rear wheels in line with the wall. 
 
He rethinks his strategy and reverses, nearly knocking over two passing bikers. 
 
The driver also apparently has trouble with his lights as both the hazards and headlights come on at different times. 
 
He drives into the space again but ends up in the same angled position and is forced to reverse out again, very nearly hitting a third passing motorcyclist. 
 
A third parking attempt sees the driver give up trying to steer his way into the space, and he gets out to ponder his next move. 
 
After realizing half the vehicle is still blocking the narrow street, he rolls up his sleeves and gradually pulls the car in line with the wall with his hands.
