"A Wisconsin man is in custody after allegedly throwing an 8-month-old baby boy against a wall in a Milwaukee home because he was losing a basketball-themed video game.

Jalin A. White, who according to court records is 20 years old, is facing charges of child abuse with great bodily harm and child neglect. He’s at the Milwaukee County Jail on a $100,000 bond. Prosecutors described the alleged abuse during White’s first appearance in front of Milwaukee County Court Commissioner Andrea Bolender.

“Your statement (was) he hit the wall hard. You heard the bang of the wall,” Bolender told White, according to a courtroom report from local ABC affiliate WISN.

The child is at the hospital but is not expected to survive, authorities say. According to a criminal complaint obtained by Law&Crime, the incident happened Tuesday at White’s home in the 7000 block of 42nd Street near Good Hope Road in north Milwaukee. White and the boy’s mother rent a room in the home owned by her parents, police said. She went to work and left the boy in the care of White, who is unemployed and takes care of him full time.

The boy, identified in the complaint as JW, was in good health when his mother came home from work that day, but she allegedly went out again to buy some marijuana, detectives wrote. White was watching the child while playing video games. When the mother got back, she found the boy in his playpen “making noises,” the affidavit said. He was barely breathing and his right arm was “twitching,” the complaint said. The mother picked him up with White allegedly “angrily” asking where she was going and to give him the baby, she later told detectives. He successfully managed to do so but slipped on the concrete floor and his momentum saw him go head first into a wall. Japel was knocked out after hitting the wall and slumped to the floor. A Texas middle school teacher has been removed from the classroom after she was filmed removing her face mask and intentionally exhaling over a cornered student - before shouting 'I don't care' as the child tried to get away.

The student is seen covering her face with her hand as the unmasked teacher breathes over her during an altercation at Mead Middle School in Houston. 
 
The Aldine Independent School District requires face coverings for all students and staff. It's one of 19 independent Texas school districts that have sued Gov. Greg Abbott over his ban on school-wide mask mandates. 
 
The scarlet-haired educator approaches the student and corners her against the wall, as seen on two separate videos. 
 
'Shut up,' the teacher tells the masked girl. 'First of all, don't get it twisted.'

Metropolitans 92 announced that their center Miralem Halilovic has been diagnosed with a displaced jaw fracture.

The big man will undergo surgery, including osteosynthesis, and will be out for at least three months which means he will very likely miss the rest of the season.


Halilovic suffered the injury during the French League game against Roanne when the opposing Boubacar Toure intentionally punched him in the face.

Toure was immediately kicked out of the game and there werenâ€™t any additional incidents. The Senegalese center is waiting for the decision of the French League regarding the punishment.

UPS drivers reached a deal this year to raise their total compensation package to $170,000, including benefits.

The driver's viral post shocked thousands who were unaware of delivery drivers' pay.

Thousands of people are saying they might've chosen the wrong profession after seeing how much a UPS driver makes in a week.

Skyler Stutzman, an Oregon-based UPS delivery driver who posts to TikTok, has gotten over 11.9 million views on a video he posted in October.

In the clip, Stutzman showed a recent pay stub with his pre-tax earnings of $2,004 total for one week of work. After all the taxes and deductions, Skyler took home about $1,300 for 42 hours of work. At a pay rate of $44.26 per hour, many in the video's comments were shocked to learn that they earn less than a UPS driver.
