Combat Veteran SQoot releases “La La” Music Video about PTSD
Chicago, IL – Hip Hop Recording Artist SQoot has just released a brand new song & video for “La La” detailing his combat experience in Iraq & Afghanistan while serving on active duty in the military. In “La La” SQoot confronts difficult topics like family, combat fatigue, PTSD & Veteran suicides. This song and video is dedicated to all military veterans who served their country and their sacrifices. The music video was even directed by a veteran owned company Urban Grind TV.



SQoot just released "Welcome Home" an album is 3 years in the making. When asked about his project SQoot is quoted as saying “Welcome Home represents the harsh reality of returning home to Chicago after fighting in 2 combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and facing the harsh reality of the environment in Chicago. Returning from war is one thing but entering another war at home is another. Most combat veterans will agree that home doesn't feel like home and the false expectations of the world being perfect is far from reality. Which comes the question "What are we fighting for?" or in better terms "Why are we here?" That's why on songs like "La La" where I'm expressing the perception of what SQoot was exposed to and saying that money isn't the issue but people are”.
