Zookeepers at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park jumped into action when a dog entered a gorilla enclosure. The scary moment was caught on camera by guests visiting the park. The male shepherd ran around in distress as a gorilla began to chase it around the exhibit. Zookeepers were able to safely leash the dog and remove him from the area for evaluation. An Amazon delivery driver came to the rescue of a 19-year-old and her dog as the two were being attacked by a larger dog in Las Vegas, Nevada, on December 13. 
 
Michael Rayâ€™s Ring camera recorded this video of his 19-year-old daughter, Lauren, and 9-year-old dog, Max. Ray told Storyful he is a real estate agent and was out showing homes at the time. 
 
â€œMy Ring alert went off and I watched the entire situation unfold in front of me,â€� he said. 
 
The video shows Lauren greeting the unknown dog when her own dog, Max, runs out of the house. The larger dog starts to attack Max, who Lauren quickly picks up. When Lauren began screaming for help the Amazon driver leapt into action and helped Lauren and Max escape into the house. 
 
In the original Facebook post, Ray showed his gratitude to the Amazon driver, writing, â€œShe could have easily stayed back, she saw how aggressive the dog was, but came flying in to help without a thought of her own well-being. Plus her telling the dog he was a bad dog at the end of the video is classic!â€� 
 
According to local news outlet KVVU-TV, the Ray family were able to track down the Amazon driver and thank her with a bouquet of flowers. Posted by JR

"The man accused of stealing almost $1 million in an elaborate DoorDash scam was due in Stamford Superior Court Wednesday morning to accept or reject an offer in the case. Instead, the case will be dismissed after prosecutors learned David Smith, 22, was killed in New York two days earlier.
Smith’s attorney in the case, Frank Riccio, told News 12, “I was shocked to learn about Mr. Smith’s death. He was a quiet, kind, young man who I had the pleasure of knowing.”
New Rochelle police said officers responded to the Heritage Homes Complex around 10:50 a.m. Monday and found Smith shot several times in the chest. Police said they believe Smith and the shooter knew each other and the violence was due to a “personal dispute.” Police initially arrested three men in connection to the case.
Marquis Williamson, 21, of Newark, N.J., and Amiri Oneal, 21, of Mount Vernon, N.Y., were each charged with second-degree murder. Anthony Webster, 20, of Mount Vernon, N.Y., was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
“Community members did help with this with calls to police of the shots and descriptions of people running away,” stated Capt. J. Collins Coyne during a news conference Tuesday.
On Wednesday, police announced the arrest of the alleged gunman, Ali Mohammed, 21, of Mount Vernon, N.Y. Mohammed was charged with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of weapon.
Smith was living in Mount Vernon, N.Y. at the time of his death. He moved there after Stamford police arrested him in June 2023 in what one investigator called a sophisticated phishing scam.
“This is probably the most massive scheme that I've seen,” investigator Mike Stempien told News 12 at the time.
Smith is accused of scamming DoorDash drivers out of over $950,000. Investigators recovered a large chunk of it when they seized five safes from his apartment on Prospect Street" - News 12 | Posted by Thrillz

" A Middle Township Elementary School teacher in South Jersey is facing charges after she allegedly had a child with a student she's accused of sexually assaulting inside her home several years ago.
Laura Caron, 34, of Cape May Court House, was arrested on Wednesday on charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child.
The alleged crimes happened between 2016 and 2020 at the suspect's home in Cape May Court House. Authorities say the victim was 13 years old and living with then-28-year-old Caron when their child was born in 2019. Laura Caron, 34, of Cape May Court House, was arrested on Wednesday on charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child.
The case was brought to light when the victim's father made a social media post in December 2024 saying Caron's 5-year-old child looked very similar to him and his son, according to investigators.
Authorities say Caron taught the victim and his brother in the 5th grade.
Over the years, the parents of the victim said the family became friends with Caron, which ultimately led to them even allowing their boys and daughter to stay at Caron's home at times. The visits began one to two nights a week, but the children stayed with Caron permanently from 2016 to 2020, authorities revealed in court documents.
During her first appearance hearing, the judge identified Caron as a "resource family parent" for the children.
The victim's sister, who stayed at Caron's home at one point, allegedly told police she thought her brother was about 11 years old when he started sleeping with his teacher in the same bed. According to the criminal complaint, the sister revealed the children would sleep in a shared room on the second floor, but noticed her brother would be in Caron's bed the next morning.
