" Paraplegic rapper, Tapwaterz, of the rap group 4
Wheel City, has released his highly anticipated
solo mixtape “The Jimmy Brooks Chronicles Vol 1”,
The mixtape is partially inspired by artist
Drake’s earlier role on Degrassi: The Next
Generation, where he played Jimmy Brooks, a young
man confined to a wheelchair after being shot. The
mixtape is a collection of songs (many performed
over Drake’s beats) that detail Tapwaterz’ life
and issues he faces since being accidentally shot
by a cousin and paralyzed from the chest down. The
project also features a number of skits drawn from
Drake’s role and other appearances.
