"A nine-year-old boy was forced naked into a home oven after his father caught him rummaging through his wallet.
"I'm going to burn you alive," the father reportedly told his son before closing the oven door at their townhouse in New York, US.
Court papers say the 52-year-old father did not light the oven with son Christopher Moss inside, but the boy suffered burns on his hands when he was forced to hold them over the burner's open flame for two minutes.
The child was also hit with a spatula and dragged across the floor,
