"A 22-year-old former police officer from Georgia, Miles Bryant, is facing upgraded charges of felony murder and kidnapping in connection with the death of 16-year-old Susana Morales.

The Gwinnett County Police Department disclosed on Wednesday that a handgun, which Bryant had reported as missing, was discovered in close proximity to Moralesâ€™ naked, skeletal remains, leading authorities to focus on him as a person of interest.

Prior to this, Bryant had been charged with concealing a death and making a false report of a crime. He was previously employed as a police officer in Doraville, a suburb of Atlanta, but was terminated due to the charges." - Breaking911

Police Officer Charged With Murder After His Gun Was Found Near 16-Year-Old's Exposed Body!

" The older sister of a teenager who died during a police raid last year said Monday that the holidays are particularly difficult without him.

“I still can’t believe Randall is gone,” said Jenice Adjessom, whose family filed a federal lawsuit against Mobile and unnamed police officers. “I won’t be celebrating Christmas with (him). He was so kind, so gentle. We loved him, and he loved us beyond belief.”

The suit, which seeks unspecified compensatory and punitive damages, alleges that police officers were unjustified in shooting 16-year-old Randall Adjessom in his home on Sheringham Drive on Nov. 13 last year. Mobile officials declined to comment Monday, but the city has maintained that Adjessom was armed with a laser-sighted pistol and pointed it at police.

Jenice Adjessom said her brother was smart, resourceful, selfless and caring.

“Randall should be alive today,” she said. “We are seeking justice in Randall’s name, and pray through the courts, we can get help stop the senseless police attacks.”

The incident was the fourth violent encounter in 2023 involving police officers that resulted in a death. It prompted Mayor Sandy Stimpson to order a halt to predrawn raids in all but extraordinary circumstances.

The others were:

A March 7, 2023, raid at a house in the 800 block of Charles Street that resulted in the shooting death of 24-year-old Kordell Jones. Police were investigating a robbery and were searching for a suspect, Jason Jones. The SWAT team surrounded the house and shot Jones’ brother as he climbed out of a window with a gun. A federal suit is pending in that case.
A July 2, 2023, incident in which officers got into a confrontation with a Theodore resident named Jawan Dallas during a burglary investigation off of Carol Plantation Road. He died after police used a Taser gun, although the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office concluded that was not the cause of death. "A shocking incident has been reported from Moldova where a man who had been buried alive for four days was rescued by the police. Officers were investigating the death of a 74-year-old woman whose body was found in her home by a relative when they heard muffled cries for help from nearby. They started digging and found the entrance to a makeshift basement where the 62-year-old was locked up by a teenager. A video of the incredible rescue has been released by the police and shows the man being pulled out.
According to local media, the incident took place on May 13 (Monday). The rescued man was conscious and had neck wound.

The police later arrested an 18-year-old from his home in Ustia in northwest Moldova in connection with the case, reported Need To Know.

When the teenager was questioned, he gave confusing answers after which the police searched his home for evidence.

The 62-year-old told the police that he was drinking with the teenager when an argument started. The teen then attacked him with a knife, locked him in the basement and covered the entrance with soil.

The police also believe that the teenager killed the elderly woman too, either on Sunday night or Monday morning.

He has been remanded to custody as police and prosecutors continue to investigate him for murder and attempted murder. He faces up to life in prison if found guilty.
