Crazy: Man Stabs Guy In The Neck While Riding Rapid Bus!
A man was stabbed while riding a Rapid bus in Grand Rapids on Monday. It happened around noon as the bus was in the area of Kalamazoo Avenue and Elliott Street SE, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department. Surveillance video from the bus obtained by 24 Hour News 8 shows a passenger stand up as the bus comes to a stop, walk past the victim and stab him once in the neck area. The victim hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect got off the bus and was caught a short time later, police said. Jail records show Leroy Davis, 41, was arrested in connection to the stabbing. He now faces charges of assault with intent to commit great bodily harm and being a habitual offender. Davis was initially scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday, but that was pushed back to Wednesday morning, GRPD said. In the meantime, he is being held on a $250,000 bond.
