Worldstar Foundation's 3rd Annual Christmas Skid Row Giveaway Hosted by Dj Mustard & Kid Ink!
On Friday, December 18th the WorldstarHipHop Foundation along Lee “Q†O’Denat, once again helped residents of Skid Row during the holiday season for a 3rd year by giving away over 1000 care packages, free haircuts, and food. We were joined by DJ Mustard, and Kid Ink to lead the giveaway effort.
“It’s important to WorldStarHipHop to be able to give back,†said Q, founder and CEO of WorldStarHipHop, “We are well aware of the homeless issue in Los Angeles and hope that with this program we are able to help those in need.â€
Each participant received a gift bag containing a basic survival kit (toothbrush, bar soap, shampoo & body bath, stick deodorant, shave cream), blankets, hand warmers, anti-bacteria essentials, beanies/gloves/scarves, and a complimentary Christmas gift bag, and other items. In addition, the foundation partnered with the Los Angeles Barber College, which had barbers offering first-come-first-served haircuts and Subway Restaurants, who donated 1,000 sandwich boxes.
