Boston Dynamics, the company known for its robotic dogs, now has a humanoid robot capable of doing gymnastics.

The robotics company previously has shown how its robot dogs can go down stairs and open doors. Some police departments have begun using the robot dogs, typically called Spot, to help patrol. And Atlas, which the company dubbed "the world's most dynamic humanoid," showed in an earlier video how the robot can jog and jump over a log.

In a new video, Atlas now can do parkour â€“ a sport of moving through obstacles â€“ jumping and running along uneven platforms. Then, two humanoid robots do synchronized movements including turning, spinning and two flips, mirroring each other moves. Posted by Abdul

Pierre Emm and Johan da Silveira created TatouÃ©, an industrial robot arm that can autonomously perform intricate tattoos on humans. Using a 3D scanner, the body part is captured. The scan is then uploaded to Dynamo, a design software that converts the art into a language the computer understands: geometry. The software helps apply the design onto the scanned surface, as well as export the pattern in code to the robot. TatouÃ© currently uses the same needle and ink as traditional tattoo guns. A humanoid obsessive has built an incredibly realistic female robot from scratch - and it's got more than a passing resemblance to Avengers star Scarlett Johansson.

Ricky Ma, a 42-year-old product and graphic designer, has spent more than $50,000 (Â£34,000) and a year and a half creating the female robot prototype, Mark 1.

The designer confirmed the scarily lifelike humanoid had been modelled on a Hollywood star, but wanted to keep her name under wraps.

It responds to a set of programmed verbal commands spoken into a microphone and has moving facial expressions, but Ricky says creating it wasn't easy.
