John Krahn, a 7'0", 440-pound offensive lineman from southern California, is hoping to draw interest from college football coaches.
MaxPreps.com profiled Krahn, whom the popular high school sports site believes is the tallest player on a high school football roster this season. The senior at King (Riverside) in California’s Inland Empire region entered sixth grade at 6'0" and grew to 6'5" by the time he entered high school.
Krahn was listed at 6'8", 330 pounds when he made King’s varsity roster as a sophomore and has since grown four more inches.
Krahn told MaxPreps.com that he is attempting to shed weight while on a 3,000-calorie diet of largely fish and chicken in an attempt to attract further interest from college coaches. Via
