Four Boynton Beach cops surrendered themselves on Friday after they beat several people on camera and allegedly lied to the FBI about it.
Federal documents state Sgt. Philip Antico and Officers Michael Brown, Justin Harris and Ronald Ryan rewrote their reports to justify using force on Byron Harris and Jeffrey Braswell following a 2014 high-speed car chase, the Sun Sentinel reports.
In footage recorded from a helicopter, Harris, the driver of the vehicle that struck and injured a police officer, and Braswell, a passenger, are seen being viciously kicked, punched and shocked with a Taser.
"It's a very sad day for law enforcement if these allegations are true," U.S. Magistrate Judge William Matthewman said to the men as they stood in front of him in shackles.
