Foolishness: Judge In Connecticut Arrested For DUI! "Stop Treating Me Like A Negro From The Hood"

AP reports "(AP) Connecticut's Judicial Review Council says it will pursue misconduct charges against a judge charged with drunken driving.

Four charges stem from disparaging comments that Judge E. Curtissa Cofield allegedly made to police who arrested her in October in Glastonbury. The fifth addresses the DUI charge.

The review council reached its decision Monday and plans a Feb. 9 hearing.

Cofield allegedly told police she was "sick of being treated like a Negro from the 'hood," and referred to state police Sgt. Dwight Washington as "Mister Negro Washington."
The 60-year-old judge was arrested after allegedly sideswiping a parked state police cruiser in a construction zone on Route 2 on Oct. 9.

She later apologized in Manchester Superior Court and was accepted into an alcohol education program. The charges against her will be dismissed if she successfully completes the program."
