A woman who police say posed as a social services worker with the Orange County Children and Family Services, and attempted to kidnap an infant, is in police custody.
 
Investigators say the incident happened at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the 2300 block of S. Evergreen in Santa Ana. They say the victim was at home, got a knock on the door from a woman claiming to be named Myela Ortega with social services, and tells the woman she's aware she had a child two weeks ago and is there to take possession of the child. An online video shows a woman pretending to be a manager firing people at Walmart. 

Cameras were rolling as a woman carrying a clipboard walked around the Walmart store in Richmond. 

"I'm going to need to see your badge and your vest, because you're fired," said the woman in the video posted to YouTube. 

The employees looked shocked and upset. That was until the prankster filled them in on the joke: "It's a camera, I'm pranking you." 

But the prank went too far for employee Maria Leones. "I felt so powerless at that time."

Caught On Ring: Goons Pretending To Be Ohio Police... Tried An Attempted Home Robbery At 3AM! [Updated]

A 14-year-old boy is facing charges after authorities say he impersonated a police officer and stole from a 64-year-old man who is partially blind.

Police said the boy offered to help the man Monday at the 34th Street-Penn Station (A/C/E) in Midtown.

The suspect, saying he was a cop, led the victim into the subway, presumably to help him through the turnstile, according to police. That's when he went through his bag and took his wallet.

Security video showed the teen unzipping the man's backpack and taking out the wallet.

The victim's credit card was then charged $500 at a store near the incident. The video led to Sunday's arrest.

The teen was arrested and charged with grand larceny and criminal impersonation of a police officer.
