He Been Waiting To Try His Gun Out! ‘Circle K’ Clerk Got Tired Of Youngins Disrespecting Him, Chased Them Out After Firing Shots At The Group (Rewind)
"A Circle K convenience store clerk who grabbed a gun and chased some people out of his store told investigators he felt threatened. The Escambia County Sheriff's Office told WEAR News on Tuesday that he will not be facing any charges. The video paints a clear picture of what happened at the store on Pensacola Beach Monday, just after 1 a.m.
The clerk told investigators he felt threatened by the group's actions, and that's why he walked out with a gun.
Video captures the exchange between five men and the Circle K clerk. Monica McGee lives nearby, and often goes to this Circle K.
"It’s often rowdy over here," McGee said. "When there are large gangs of people."
McGee says she's seen similar situations at businesses along Pensacola Beach.
"To defend him, this is a constant problem," McGee said. "They do get a lot of harassment. From tourists, or from people, not from the area, especially. They group and gang up, and often times had to close her doors because of it.”
It's unclear what started the confrontation, but the sheriff's statement also said the men involved chose not to press charges. No one was hurt.
Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons said in a statement Tuesday: “It just doesn’t seem right to me to make the clerk a felon based upon these circumstances." - Wear News | Posted by Thrillz
