Paulsonâ€™s rap over a slow beat included bars such as â€œPro-religious freedom, pro-life, pro-police; the right to bear arms and the right to free speech.â€�

â€œThe Constitution needs to be protected, not changed or disregarded, but resurrected,â€� Paulson later spit as she looked up at the sky.

Paulson is set to face Democrat and Utah state Senate Minority Leader Karen Mayne in the November general election.

Melo is also on the state sex offender registry after he threatened a woman with a box cutter and sexually assaulted her in 2010. He is a tier 2 offender considered to be a moderate risk.
