Two suspects exited a white four door Kia, approached Smith's vehicle, and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of both Smith and his daughter at the scene.
Family members, including Smith's aunt Stella Houston, expressed profound grief and confusion over the attack, emphasizing that Smith was a family man with no known enemies. RMani had just celebrated her fifth birthday the day before the shooting
