"William Banks, a 27-year-old from Brooklyn, New York, was arrested on December 30, 2023, in Westport, Connecticut, for allegedly stealing five pro-Israel yard signs in the Colony Road neighborhood. During the investigation, a Westport police officer observed Banks taking another sign while conversing with a homeowner; Banks then fled the scene in a white vehicle. He was charged with sixth-degree larceny and turned himself in to police on February 27, 2024. Banks posted a $500 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on March 19, 2024. 


In the following months, Banks' case attracted significant online attention. On October 10, 2024, he announced via social media that he had been sentenced to eight months in jail, starting November 15, 2024. While incarcerated, Banks purportedly acquired a cell phone and began sharing content from within the facility, including videos and photos depicting daily life behind bars. These posts went viral, leading to widespread speculation about the authenticity of his imprisonment. Notably, searches in the Connecticut State Department of Correction's inmate database did not list a prisoner named William Banks, prompting debates about whether his incarceration was genuine or an elaborate hoax. 


The situation escalated on February 20, 2025, when Banks posted a video on social media allegedly showing his escape from prison. The footage, which quickly amassed millions of views, intensified discussions about the legitimacy of his claims and the potential legal ramifications of his actions" - The Hour |

A Mississippi daycare worker wiped away tears as she apologized for scaring little children with a Halloween mask after her worrying behavior left her unemployed this week. Staff members at Lilâ€™ Blessings Child Care & Learning Center, located in Hamilton, Miss., were allegedly trying to put a scare into some children who they thought had been â€œbad,â€� said a whistleblower in a Facebook post. Four employees at the facility were fired following the incident, according to local outlet WTVA. 

Speaking out for the troubling videos went viral on social media, one daycare worker - who referred to herself as CeeCee- insisted the act was not â€œill-intentioned.â€� The worker claims she made her plan of scaring the children known to other members of staff but failed to disclose it to the daycare owner, Sheila Sanders. The Mississippi State Department of Health and the Monroe County Sheriffâ€™s Office are investigating the ordeal and working with the county prosecutor to see if there are any possible criminal charges that can be filed.
