This is the terrifying moment a 'wrecking ball' comes loose and smashes through a car windscreen, leaving two women screaming in terror.
 
Shocking footage shows the driver and her passenger travelling through Belfast on Tuesday evening, when the giant ball appears from seemingly nowhere and completely wipes out the moving car. 
 
The chaos was astonishingly captured in full on dashcam as the motor crumpled under the impact.
 
In the clip, the women can be heard discussing roadworks along the Shore Road, with the left lane completely closed off, as gas company Phoenix Energy carry out improvements.
 
The two pass a bridge and are mid-conversation when a piece of heavy equipment - supposedly a giant piece of equipment used to test pressure in pipes - is launched into the air from behind the road barriers.
 
The ball heads straight for the car, and a split-second later, smashes into the motor's windscreen, completely shattering the glass and the front end.
 
The women are immediately sent into a frenzy and scream in terror as the camera's screen turns black and chaos erupts.
 
One woman screams in sheer panic as her friend tries to reassure her, repeatedly shouting: 'You're okay, you're okay.'
 
Miraculously, no one was injured in the incident despite one of the women seemingly screaming in pain amid the ball's destruction.

On Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at around 2:45 pm, the complainant had just arrived home and parked in his garage at the 3500 block of Bradford, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that he was suddenly approached by two unknown males (one armed with a handgun) who were demanding his car keys. The complainant informed the suspects that his keys were in his vehicle inside a backpack. As the complainant reached into his vehicle to get his backpack, the second suspect opened the passenger door and took the backpack from him. That suspect then fled the scene with the backpack (and car keys) while the first suspect entered the complainantâ€™s vehicle in an attempt to steal it, but was unable to start it because the second suspect had the keys when he fled.
 
The complainant started to run after the suspect that had his backpack and heard gunshots coming from the first suspect, who was running behind him. The suspect that had the backpack also heard the gunshots, causing him to drop the backpack. The complainant was then able to recover his backpack (with all his property) as both suspects caught up with each other at the 3500 block of W. Holcombe.
