More Than 100 Students Suspended For "B*tch A$$" Video in TN

Three summer school students in Arizona were arrested Wednesday morning after they were allegedly found in possession of more than 3,200 pills of fentanyl, a potentially deadly synthetic opioid.
 
The students at San Luis High School were jailed and charged for drug possession and distribution charges, police said. Two of the students, Noemi Hernandez-Madrigal and Alessandra Cardenas-Hernandez, are both 18 and are being charged as adults. The third student, a 16-year-old male, will be charged as a minor.
 
Hernandez-Madrigal had three separate plastic zip-lock bags containing more than 3,200 blue M30 pills, also known as fentanyl, weighing a total of 373 grams, CBS affiliate KPHO reported.
 
Fentanyl is a fully synthetic opioid, originally developed as a powerful anesthetic for surgery. It is also administered to alleviate severe pain associated with terminal illnesses like cancer.
 
Illicitly produced fentanyl has been a driving factor in the growing opioid epidemic across the country. The rate of drug overdoses involving fentanyl skyrocketed by about 113% each year from 2013 through 2016.
 
â€œEven half a pill can kill someone. Itâ€™s happened before,â€� San Luis Police Lt. Marco Santana told KYMA. â€œWeâ€™ve had about 19 overdoses just this year alone. Weâ€™ve had about 16 in 2018 itâ€™s obviously a very dangerous drug and thereâ€™s no control.â€�
 
Santana said each pill costs $15 on the black market. Posted By Ghost

"A former middle school teacher faces charges of having sex with underage minors who came to her looking for help with their math homework.
LaShawn Simmons resigned from her teaching job at Beverly Hills Intermediate School in Texas when she was confronted about the scandal in January but now she is being criminally charged.
Simmons, 41, allegedly had sex with four students and was only discovered when one of the students' parents found explicit Facebook messages that Simmons had sent.
The Houston Chronicle reports that investigators then found nude photos and explicit text messages that she had sent other students.
None of the male students names have been released because of their age and the fact that they are victims of sexual assault.
They are thought to be her former students, as she worked at the middle school for the past 14 years and all of the victims were students at the nearby high school, Dobie High School."

Caught Giving Out More Than First Aid: School Nurse Arrested After Having Sex Acts With Multiple Students!

Five elementary school children from Clifton, New Jersey, are accused of planning to set off an explosive device at a high school.

The kids, ages 10 and 11, are fifth-graders from Clifton Elementary School #11.

Police said they were allegedly planning to detonate an explosive at an assembly being held at Clifton High School Wednesday.

At this point, police haven't said why the kids targeted the high school, but they are treating it as more than a prank.

Teachers and administrators at the school reportedly uncovered written plans on how the attack would occur and contacted police.

Police found the "device," but there were no explosives inside of it. Instead, it was filled with vinegar and cinnamon, so authorities say while the intent might have been there, the scheme would not have worked.

The students -- four boys and one girl -- were detained and released to their parents. All five have been suspended from school, but there are no official charges at this point. Posted By Ghost
