The Sarasota County School District confirms they are looking into a racially offensive promposal that was posted to social media.
 
A spokesperson for the district confirms the Riverview High School senior posted a picture that they worry will be a disruptor to the school and student safety. 
 
The post made to Snapchat reads, "If I was Black I'd be picking cotton, but I'm white so I'm picking U 4 Prom?"
 
The district tells us they have not concluded if the 18-year-old will be banned from prom as it's an ongoing investigation. Posted By Ghost

Four Olathe high school students have been charged with aggravated robbery relating to armed robberies on Halloween, one of which was recorded on video and spread on social media.

Olathe police on Monday confirmed that the video being shared on social media was related to the robberies. Police added that all the teenage suspects have been taken into custody.

The Johnson County District Attorney has charged the four defendants, all Olathe residents, in juvenile court, each with two felony counts of aggravated robbery. Posted by JR

On Monday, June 28, 2021 at approximately 1800 hours, the individuals approached an on-duty 57-year-old male United States Postal Service Mail Carrier in the vicinity of McGuinness Boulevard and Nassau Avenue while he was delivering mail on a postal carrier route. The individuals approached the victim on the sidewalk from behind while operating dirt bikes and proceeded to punch him multiple times with closed fists in the face, causing broken facial bones and lacerations. A UPS robbery starting in Coral Gables, Florida in a jewelry store ends up deadly. Robbers came in and escaped by taking a UPS truck hostage. A high speed chase started and ended in Miramar, Florida in Broward County. Police for some reason decided to shoot up the truck in a traffic jam with innocent pedestrians all around and using their cars as shields. Not to mention they were shooting in to the truck with the UPS driver that was being held hostage. Everyone in the truck ended up dead. Our condolences to the families affected.

CHELSEA, Manhattan (PIX11) â€” Thieves on motorized bikes rode up to a man in Chelsea and stole a Rolex watch from his wrist in a robbery caught on surveillance video. 
 
The robbery happened in front of 208 West 23rd Street around 12:50 p.m. Friday, according to the NYPD. 
 
The 64-year-old victim was walking on the sidewalk when three robbers â€” two on a dirt bike and one on a moped â€” rode up and stopped next to the man. One of the men hopped off the dirt bike and grabbed the Rolex from the victimâ€™s wrist, pushing him to the ground, the surveillance video showed. 
 
The thieves then rode away east on West 23rd Street and then south in Seventh Avenue, police said. The NYPD has not arrested any suspects. Posted by JR
