A Florida man who broke into a shop and stole several scratch-off lottery tickets was found to have returned to cash the winning tickets. The heist was caught on the store's security footage, which you can watch above.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, at least one of the tickets he stole was a winner. They also learned that he went to the same location a few days later in order to claim his ill-begotten winnings.
“To the brilliant burglar who broke in through the roof to steal lottery tickets, did you not notice the cameras?†the sheriff's office said in a Facebook post.
In the clip, the man can be seen entering the store from the ceiling, dangling for a moment in front of the surveillance camera with his face and tattoos clearly visible. He then goes behind the counter and begins to unfurl rolls of lottery tickets and shove them into a bag.
