Texas Police Officer Under Investigation For Excessive Force After Kicking Suspect In The Face While Under Arrest!

Lubbock, TX Police have started an investigation into allegations of excessive force during the arrest of Jose Escarcega just after midnight on July 30th. Escarcega is accused of stealing a police officer's patrol unit during a foot chase. He is accused of intentionally crashing the police unit while Corporal Ryan Durrett was hanging on. Durrett suffered a broken leg. After the crash, Escarcega was seen on video sitting next to the patrol unit when an officer runs up to Escarcega and kicks him in the face then repeatedly punches him, other officers join in the kicking and punching of Escarcega.
