The Urban Media Awards are the first annual awards ceremony developed specifically to highlight the achievements and longevity of today's leading media professionals who report on the lives and careers of entertainers, athletes, and artists in our thriving and trendsetting urban culture. There isn't a awards show to spotlight the talents of those who move our culture through music videos, radio, television, popular and trendsetting magazines, websites, and blogs. We hope to be the first to accomplish such. With the backdrop of our first UMAs set in beautiful South Beach Miami, we are excited to have the opportunity to honor these urban media professionals.
