BURLINGAME (CBS SF) â€” Burlingame police are looking for a group of suspects who stole a haul of around $70,000 from an Apple store on Thursday night. This is the third time this month that the store has been hit.
 
Eight black males entered the Apple Store on Burlingame Avenue at around 8:20 p.m. and stole the devices on display, according to Sgt. Bolanos of Burlingame PD. The suspects then fled in two separate vehicles and remain at large. Posted by JR

Brazen Thieves Rob An Apple Store In Broad Daylight! (Rewind Clip)

The Fresno Police Department is investigating a robbery at the Apple store at Fashion Fair Mall.

Lt. Rob Beckwith said police are searching for four men who stormed the store around 11:30 a.m. Saturday and took items off the display tables. "They were going through people and just grabbing stuff," Beckwith said Sunday.

Police initially got a report that the incident was an armed robbery, but later determined that the alleged heist was quick and no weapons were used. Beckwith said investigators are describing the alleged robbery as "a large grand theft" due to the product value and that there was significant monetary loss. An exact amount was not given.

Aaron Papalao waited in front of the Herkimer Gamestop for 21 hours to try and get his hands on a Playstation 5. A few days prior to Black Friday, Aaron received an ad on his phone from Gamestop. The fine print guaranteeing every store will have at least two of the consoles in stock. Stores were not doing pre-orders with the consoles on Black Friday, so it was first come first serve.
