Murder allegations against YNW Melly are adding up as the 19-year-old is reportedly a suspect in the murder of a deputy police officer in Vero Beach, Florida, according to Vero News.
The Indiana River County Sherriff's detective suggests Jamell Demons, known as YNW Melly, and Cortlen Henry, YNW Bortlen were responsible for the death of an off-duty deputy officer Gary Chambliss.
According to sources close to the case, the two YNW members were standing in a group firing shots when Chambliss was struck by a stray bullet while standing 170 yards away. Detectives speculate the fatal shot came from one of the rappers.
Indiana River police have yet to confirm if either of the men is a suspect. However, detectives are committed to investigating Chambliss' murder and intend to interrogate them.
