Charlottesville Police have confirmed that 25-year-old Bryan Silva has been arrested, after a stand-off that happened Sunday at a home on the 2500 block of Jefferson Park Avenue. Charlottesville Police Chief Tim Longo says the suspect surrendered after police used a chemical irritant on the home. Police made contact with Silva via phone, but Silva refused to leave the home. This prompted police to activate SWAT Teams. Silva was arrested and charged with abduction and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Posted By Persist
