Florida Deputies Save Suspect's Life After He Nearly Drowns!

One minute Pasco County deputies were chasing a dangerous suspect, the next minute they were saving his life. 40-year old suspect Jeral Bornstein was rescued from drowning after he fell into a canal this week. Deputies were pursuing Jeral on suspicion of retail theft earlier that night. When the suspect failed to evade the authorities in his vehicle, he bailed out and tried to flee on foot. A short time later he fell into a canal and very almost drowned. Bodycam video shows the deputies then pull Jeral out of the canal and resuscitate him with CPR. Thankfully the suspect survived but he now faces serious charges including aggravated assault, driving without a license, fleeing to elude law enforcement and resisting arrest. Posted By Persist
